The Nintendo Wii makes you feel more like you’re in the game rather than just playing a video game. The Wii’s unique remote control puts you right in the middle of the gaming action. Forget about pushing a button to start your golf backswing. The Wii lets you swing the club!

The console has a compact design and can be displayed either vertically or horizontally. Its single self-loading media bay will play 12cm Wii discs as well as the older Nintendo GameCube discs. The Wii also boasts 512MB of internal flash memory, 2x USB 2.0 ports and has built-in WiFi capability.

The Wii controller is Shaped like a TV remote, and has been designed to be easily used by beginners and pros alike. Sensors inside determine where the Wii Remote's position is in 3-D space, which means that movements can be translatted in to steering wheel in a racing game or a sword swing in a combat game, so no longer do you have to use your thumbs, your arm is the controller.

The remote features an in-built speaker, rumble effect and expansion port, the controller can be used within 10m of the console. Up to 4 Wii remotes can be connected at once via Bluetooth for multi-player games.
