Sony BDP-S300 Blu-Ray DVD Player
Sony BDP-S300 Blu-Ray DVD Player BD Player supporting 24p True Cinema,
Bravia Theatre Sync and x.v.Colour.
Features:-
- 1080p High Definition Picture
- 7.1ch Surround Sound
- 24p True Cinema: This mode allows films to be watched as intended by the director for the big screen, at 24 frames per second. Until now, movies watched at home play back 'faster' than they do in the cinema. When a film is shown on TV or sold on DVD it has to be adjusted to be compatible with the PAL format. The difference is that films are shot at a rate of 24 frames per second, whereas standard TV uses 25 frames per second.
- Bravia Theatre Sync: Bravia Theatre Sync is a new way of controlling Home Theatre setups. Using HDMI connections and one remote control, signals can be sent between the various units that make up the system. BRAVIA Theatre Sync is designed to cut out any complexity so you can concentrate on enjoying the movie. Just one push of a button and the audio equipment and TV are switched on, the correct inputs selected and the Blu-ray Disc or DVD player starts to play.
- x.v. Colour
- 1080p DVD Upscale
- AVC-HD Disc Playback
- Dolby True HD (5.1ch): Dolby TrueHD is the next-generation lossless technology developed for high-definition disc-based media. It provides audio that is bit-for-bit identical to the highest-resolution studio masters. Dolby TrueHD supports up to eight full-range channels
- Dolby Digital Plus
- DTS-HD (5.1ch): High definition audio codec for the next generation high definition disc formats, Blu-ray Disc and High Definition DVD (HD-DVD). DTS-HD can support a virtually unlimited number of discrete surround sound channels, can downmix to 5.1- and two-channel, and can deliver audio quality at bit rates extending from DTS Digital Surround up to lossless
- DTS: Digital Theatre Systems are high-quality surround-sound systems, which are used in many cinemas.
- 5.1ch Gold Plated Analog Audio Out
- HDMI: Stands for High-Definition Multimedia Interface. Similar to DVI (but using much smaller connectors), the multi-pin HDMI interface transfers uncompressed digital video with copy protection and multichannel audio. Using an adapter, HDMI is backward-compatible with most current DVI connections
- Bitrate Display
