The Sony ICF-SW12 World Band receiver travel radio features small compact design with lid that is easy to pack into travel luggage while folding cover helps protect the unit while traveling. This 11-band travel radio lets you listen to a worldwide range of radio frequencies at home and abroad, including FM, AM (MW), and short-wave bands.

The short-wave section of this radio receiver is divided into 9 sub-bands in order to provide better reception and selectivity.

ICF-SW12's World time clock is a Universal Time Coordinator (UTC) for setting current local time and the time difference between your location and any other, and is easily adjustable by setting to the names of major cities around the world.

The LCD display has a built-in light for easy viewing of time and alarm setting. LED tuning indicator provides precise indication of center-frequency for most accurate tuning.

Built-in alarm lets you wake to any time you set, anywhere in the world. Snooze button shuts off alarm temporarily to allow for a few extra minutes of snoozing before it turns on again. Earphone jack is provided for private listening and for improving sound clarity in noisy environments.
