The Hundred Dollar Laptop goes on sale for $200.

One Laptop per ChildThe One Laptop per Child (OLPC) Hundred dollar laptop is now on sale, the $200 price tag is for any donor willing to give 10,000 plus laptops.

If you only wish to give 100 plus laptops at $299, it works like this, the Donor designates where the 100+ laptops are sent, the OLPC then uses $99 from each $299 donated to fund an additional 50+ laptops to be sent to children in a country of their designation.

Or if you wish to give a 100 plus laptops at $249, it works like this, the Donor designates where the 1000+ laptops are sent, the OLPC then uses $49 from each $249 donated to fund an additional 250+ laptops to be sent to children in a country of their designation.

The One Laptop per Child

The Mission:- The One Laptop per Child (OLPC) Foundation's mission is to ensure that all school-aged children in the developing world are able to engage effectively with their own personal laptop, networked to the world, so that they, their families and their communities can openly learn and learn about learning.

How:- The "$100" laptop gives learners opportunities they have not had before. Tools such as a Web browser, rich media player, and e-book reader bring into reach domains of knowledge that are otherwise difficult-or impossible-for children to access.

The "$100" laptop will help children build upon their active interest in the world around them to engage with powerful ideas. Tools for writing, composing, simulating, expressing, constructing, designing, modeling, imagining, creating, critiquing, debugging, and collaborating enable children to become positive, contributing members of their communities.
